Yesterday (Wednesday) my husband and I attended the funeral of my husbands aunt. She was 93 years old. She was very alert up till about 2 monthes ago when she had a heart spell and a slight stroke. In fact, she still lived alone in her home. After her heart spell she was in the hospital for a time and then was transferred to an area nursing home. She continued to go down from there and on June 11 she passed away.
It was very hard to see her so helpless the last few weeks. She also was very confused and seemed very troubled. She was so anxious to go "home" to her husband who passed away just 2 years old. It was a blessing when the Lord took her home.
We will miss Aunt Sena ; she was a very special lady with a heart for service. Her family will miss her too. But we rejoice in knowing where she is and look forward to seeing her again.

"Blessed in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints". This is so true, and especially for the older saints who are so ready to be with him. They are still missed, but what a blessing to know they are in perfect health and with the Lord!
