50th Wedding Anniverary

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on September 25, 2009. We were camping at Pentwater and our friends had a little party for us. We are having a dinner for family and friends later in October.
We are so thankful for our years together. I know many couples do not have this privilege either because of death or divorce. We feel very blessed.
This does not mean we always like eachother but we always love eachother. Sometimes we disagree and sometimes we agree to disagree. But as a whole, life has been good. We are both healthy and our hope is that we will have many more years together.

I'm back!!

Vacation time is over. We had some wonderful times camping this summer and fall. We just spent 5 days in Pentwater, MI. Beautiful weather until Monday when it became so windy. The waves were awesome on Lake Michigan. It is nice to back home again. Time now to get the yard ready for winter. Time to do some deep-cleaning in our home. (Remember how our Moms and Grandmothers pulled every apart in the spring and again in the fall? How times have changed; at least at our home it has.) I love the fall season with the changing colors of the leaves. Everything reminds us of what Ecclesiastes says "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven............. Enjoy the fall season.
