Thinking Spring!

Today is the day to take down my Christmas/Winter decorations and think about Spring.  It's very cold out but the sun is shining and I'm getting spring fever.  Changing decor with the seasons is a big job but "someone has to do it".  I plan on giving away some of the things I've had for years.  Maybe replacing them with some new things later.  Hope you all had a good weekend and have a good day.

My brother is home from the hospital and  slowly gaining back his strength.  We are so thankful.

Monday's Happening........

I'm happy to report my brother came thru his open-heart surgery.  He is working hard on his recovery; slow,  but sure.  Thank you for your prayers and concern.  Hopefully he will keep improving every day.  It is a stressful time for him as well as his family.  It has reminded all of us how to depend on our God for our every breath.

TIP FOR TUESDAY

We like to include fish in our diet.  When buying frozen fish, check for frost inside the package.  If it exists, the fish has probably been thawed and refrozen, which reduces its quality.  Also avoid fish with white, cottony blotches.  This indicates freezer burn.

IT'S MONDAY

It's 30 degrees.  The snow is melting.  The wind is blowing. Many schools are closed because of the ice on the gravel roads.  It is a good day to stay inside.

My thoughts are on one of my big brothers. He is scheduled for open-heart surgery on Wednesday.  He has a leakage in his arota.  They will replace his arota.  He has had a couple mini-strokes this past year.  Just yesterday he had heart problems and was taken back to the hospital.    They will keep him their until the surgery.  We have many people praying for him and his family. It is a very stressful time for them all.  We don't know what the future holds but we know who holds the future.
