TIPS FOR TUESDAY

Clobber soap scum in your soap dish:
If getting rid of soap scum isn't your idea of fun, here's how you can eliminate it in the first place.  Find a sponge that fits your soap dish and set it underneath the soap.  That way, wet soap will seep into the sponge, not all over your soap dish.  To clean up, just rinse out the sponge.

MONDAY'S MUSINGS

A busy week is over. Volunteering a couple days a week.  Going to a sewing group one morning a week.  Did some visiting this week.  We have a lady from our church who just had knee replacement surgery plus she got shingles.  Our daughter-in-love had microscopic surgery on her knee on Friday. I made dinner and we ate together on Friday evening.   We were invited to our daughters home on Saturday.  Her husband made stuffed green peppers,  which was delicious.  Today we attended our church services and had a coffee afterwards.

I'm ready to begin a new week.........hope you have a good one too.

THOUGHT FOR THURSDAY

Four things you can't recover:
1)  The stone after the throw.
2)  The word after it's said.
3)  The occasion after it is missed.
4)  The time after it is gone.

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

I DON'T KNOW HAPPENED

Tuesday night I had help backing up my photos to a flash drive.   Now I can't get a picture to come up on my computer for Wordless Wednesday.  I don't know what I did wrong.  Any thoughts?

TIP FOR TUESDAY

Tame your shoelaces:  If your shoelaces untie themselves no matter what you do, there's an easy solution.  Spray a bit of water on them and tie them while they're still wet.  The bow will dry in that position and stay put.

TIPS FOR TUESDAY

Prolong the life of old leather:  You can make, old, scratched-up leather belts, shoes, and purses look great again with a permanent marker.  Find a matching color and simply mark over the worn spots.
Stay warm today..........it's cold.

THOUGHTS FOR THURSDAY

The scariest feeling in the world is the split second when you loose your balance in the shower and think, Oh my, they're going to find me naked.   lol    Enjoy your day.

TIP FOR TUESDAY

Remove road salt from shoes -  Don't wander around all winter with those white rings of road salt on your leather boots and shoes.  Mix a small bunch of equal parts water and vinegar and wipe the salt away with a cloth.   Works for me.

MONDAYS' MUSINGS

Sunday, our Pastor preached on how we are ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST.  He spoke how there are so many scripture passages in the New Testament about how Christians should get along.  We must show concern for each other, no fighting among us, don't be a troublemaker, don't offend, be of one mind, stick together thru thick and thin.  Be accountable.  He gave us 30 passages; all speaking about getting along.  I believe this shows us how important and pleasing it is to God when we live in harmony with our church family.  Food for thought............

I went to church alone today because my husband has a really bad cold.  It is the season...............
Hopefully he will feel better soon.

BEGINNING A NEW YEAR

Can you believe it? 2015 has already been around for 3 days.
It has been a long time since I have written anything on my blog.  Lots of things have happened in 2014; some good things and we had a few bumps in the road of life, as well.  Everyone does, right?
But now it's a new year and we start afresh. I'm looking forward to see what this year will bring.
