Tuesday Quilt Fun

We use material that is given to us.  This one is using odds and ends left from another quilt.
Nothing is wasted.  We have such FUN !!

Starting a new week.................

I can hear again and I am so happy about that. Enjoyed worship yesterday; went for a long walk and just really enjoyed the day. Have a busy week ahead and looking for it. Hope you all will enjoy your week too.

Thoughts for Thursday

It has been awhile since I have written anything on my blog. As you know I had a hip replacement surgery on January 20. That is old news now. I'm doing very well with that.
However, now I have a large hearing loss. I went to a specialist today. I had a hearing test and I failed that miserably. My husband is going nuts because I need him to repeat everything that is said and the TV has to be turned up full blast! I do not have fluid on my ears and both ears are about the same, which is very unusual. I am suppose to wait 6 weeks; if nothing gets better in that time I have another appointment for another hearing test and then start thinking hearing aids. I do have a cold (or alergies) so maybe that is the problem.
Sometimes Dr. Vander Meer said that stress or trauma can cause hearing loss. Or probably a blood issue during surgery could cause it. We may never know but this is getting old very quickly.
I know I sound like I am not very thankful. But I am. I'm glad it is no tumor etc. going on. I am trying real hard not to become depressed. But I will admit I am struggling.
