From a Christians View

Our pastor's message yesterday was taken from John 8 where Jesus is making some outragous claims about himself. The people did not understand how Jesus could say the things He did.

We as Christian understand there never was a time when Jesus was not here.
For us: Jesus is the Son of God and is timeless. God's love for us has no beginning or end. And there never was a time that God does not love us.

We can trust Jesus with our past, present and our future. The past need not be a burden to us. We can let go of those awful memories because Jesus holds something more for us. The present need not overwhelm us. With Jesus each moment is the doorway to eternity. The future need not scare us. We can face the future because Jesus is already there.

If we trust Jesus, there is no room for despair. As the saying goes, "I don't know what the future holds but I know the One who holds the future."

I must admit that message was what I needed to hear. Maybe there is someone out there who needs to hear it too. Have a blessed day!

Sounds like a message that's good for all of us to be reminded of!

This is so good, Connie . . . a message that I think we all need in this upside-down world we live in. Sounds like you have a wonderful and wise pastor.

Connie, Thank you for this encouraging message. As this world continues down a scary road, I am thankful that I know Jesus as my Savior.
