Sunday Blessings

Having recovered from my surgery it was wonderful to able to go to worship with my church family again today. I miss worship when I am not able to attend. My voice is very "bass" yet so I could not sing the hymns very well. It's a bad time of the year to not be able to sing. All those beautiful Christmas songs - but I just listened and mouthed them so no one would think I wasn't interested. Our pastor preached on Psalm 98 - read it when you get time. Verse 1 and 2 says "Sing to the Lord a new song; for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The Lord has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations. (He sent His Son as a babe to reveal his plan of salvation for you and me - how great is that?)
Enjoy your day - it's almost Christmas!!

Glad you were able to be there. When i was having throat problems last year, i was mouthing words to songs for the same reason as you. It's a blessing to be able to sing.
Isn't it amazing how God's plan is woven all though the Bible?

I'm sure even though you couldn't really sing that your heart was singing and rejoicing as well as giving thanks for your good report.

Be blessed by the love of our Lord Jesus Christ and may you enjoy your holidays to the fullest!

I don't like to miss our church services either! I love my church family! Love your daughter and son-in-law, even though Chip has said I'm not his sister! I rudely remind him that in Christ I am so he'd better be nice!
