Tips for Tuesday

If your clothes come out dull and faded, don't reach for extra-strength detergent. Your washing machine might need cleaning. Once a year, run a half gallon of vinegar through a wash cycle. It's an easy, all-natural way to clean out dirt and soap residue.

To get every little piece of lint and dust off your dryer filter, use an old fabric softener sheet as a brush.

Thanks for the tip - I think it's time for a vinegar bath for my washer.

I just bought a gallon of vinegar today. Now I know what to do next.
