Today I made a delicious casserole for an elderly couple from our church. This couple have been very active in our church most of their life and it is hard for them to be waited on now. The man is over 90 and his wife is nearly 90 but they are trying to stay in their own home and take care of eachother yet. This is getting more difficult as they deal with ill health etc.
It is difficult for them and also for us to see their health fade. So many changes just in the last year. I sure can learn alot from them as I see the love and devotion they have for eachother as they live out life.

I have a feeling I know this couple and they are both sweethearts. Those changes are hard to deal with. It was nice of you to bring a meal.
I know how you feel. We just had a couple that attends church with us that passed 3 months apart. They were both 92and cared for each other until they passed. They were so cute and precious.

I am sure the couple enjoyed the food. On my blog, it tells about mine and my husband's condition. We have a wonderful lady that we went to church with that freezes her leftovers and brings to us for the freezer. It makes it so wonderful on a day when I am having a difficult time. All I have to do is take it out of the freezer and pop it in the toaster.
