Sewing Class

We ladies met again Tuesday to work on our 100th anniversary quilt. We have 94 squares so far. What a variety! The squares certainly bring out the personalities of our church family.

Today we started to put the squares in order and also cut stripes of material to go in between each square. We have our work "cut out for us" for sure.

We're having a great time working together and look forward to meeting again in a couple of weeks.

How neat! I hope you post a picture of the quilt when it is complete.

I am reading all the above comments and thinking, "What are they talking about?" and "Why is Mari commenting about so many things?" I think I am missing something.

Our church did one of those for an anniversary some years ago, and it was a treasure. What a fun thing to work on together with the other ladies!

Hi Connie ~ I think that your sewing class would be so fun...especially spending time with your church friends! It sounds like such a fun project! Thank you so much for visiting my "little space"...always nice to have you stop by!

I remember my grandma doing this with ladies from her church years ago but I never have done a quilt of any kind.
