Tip for Tuesday

Refrigerator cookies will turn out beautifully if you follow this advice.

You'll need the inner cardboard from a roll of paper towels. Cut the roll length-wise, so you can open this tube. Line the inside with wax paper, then pack your cookie dough inside. Close it up, securing it with rubber bands, and chill the dough according to your recipe. When it's time for slicing, you'll have a perfectly shaped roll. Use a cheese cutter to cut uniform pieces from the roll.

This is a great idea! I don't make refrig. cookies too often because my rolls don't look good. Now they will be perfect and so will the cookies thanks to your tip.
