Sunday's Message

This year our Mission Emphasis theme is "Love in Many Languages". Our pastor for today gave us four points on how to minister to people who do not know the Lord. 1) keep in contact 2) keep in prayer 3) keep encouraging and 4) keep speaking the many languages of love. We were reminded that we bring the Word, many times by our actions and deeds BUT God changes the heart.
Many times I get discouraged; I stop praying because I don't see any change in a persons behavior or actions. That is wrong on my part. God chooses the time and place, not me. I just need to be faithful in doing God's work of bringing the Good News to the world.
This was a message I needed to hear. How about you?

I need to hear that too. I tend to give up too soon.

Connie, that is so true. Thanks. I think this message needs to be in all of our heart. Have a good day...

Hi Connie, I have been meaning to come by and visit since you introduced yourself on my "front porch". We are to be a "light" in this dark world. Our actions are being watched by so many. This is good...or I should say AMEN SISTER!

Four good points to remember, we do tend to give up to soon many times. We are to be salt and light to believers and nonbelievers alike.

I had that very thought this morning, then God reminded me of the verses I have been memorizing about waiting on Him. His timing is perfect. I need not fret about what is going on just continue to trust His character and keep praying!
