TIP FOR TUESDAY

Most cake mixes make a 9 x 13 size cake. So when I bake a cake I usually freeze a portion of it to enjoy at a later time. This is how I do it.
Cut the cake in slices before freezing and interweave each piece
with a piece of waxed paper. Resemble the cake and freeze as usual.
You can then remove as many slices as you need without
having the whole cake defrost.
Enjoy your day.

Alan's birthday was Feb. 17. We took the last piece of his cake out of the freezer last night. So, just saying, this is a good tip. It works!
